Life in Colour
Sir David Attenborough has been fascinated by color in the natural world all his life. He first wanted to tell the story of color in the 1950s, but had to settle on a series about The Pattern of Animals, since television was limited to black & white technology. 65 years later, at the age of 94, he is finally able to complete this lifelong journey - using the latest high-quality HDR filming technology, as well as specialist cameras to also film in the ultraviolet range and to capture polarized light. These new cameras, combined with recent ground-breaking scientific research, have opened up a new world of understanding. So, at last, we are able to view the world as animals see it and to tell stories that have not been told before.
